Many thanks to our friends at Fulham FC for inviting us to their sponsors 6-a-side tournament. Held at their brilliant training ground, every game we played was on a surface like a golf fairway.

Our team pictured above in all their motley glory (I am back row, 1st from the left) fuelled up ready for the day drinking our superb isotonic Viper energy drink and a Viper Extreme bar for further energy boost!

We did really well beating LG Mobiles and American Airlines and drew with Fulham’s backroom staff to win the group. Sadly we came up against a very good Vittel side in the semi-final and lost narrowly.

To make sure we didn’t stiffen up the next day we had a long stretch and made sure we had a serving of Recovermax within half an hour of the last game. Felt absolutely fine the next day, apart from the dirty blisters from my new boots!
